How We Help You

When you have a conflict involving a neighbor, landlord, tenant, parent, teen, elder, business partner, business or customer, call us at 425-452-4091.

  1. Coaching: First we listen to your story without giving advice, judgment or taking sides. We coach you on how to resolve the issue yourself and/or to decide upon other options.
  2. Conciliation: If you prefer, the conciliator will talk to the other person for you, acting as a phone intermediary between you until you reach an agreement, if possible.
  3. Mediation: If the issue gets complicated, you and/or the other person(s) can choose to sit down fact-to-face with mediators helping you resolve the issue.
  4. Facilitation: We partner with other departments in the city to facilitate public participation and engagement around key community issues.
